We’re kicking off 2015 with an acquisition that will better serve our Kentucky customers—and enable us to reach out to many more. It’s with great excitement that we announce the acquisition of Lexington Fire Extinguisher, Inc. Like us, Lexington Fire Extinguisher was a privately owned business that provided fire extinguisher services, restaurant fire suppression, and emergency lighting to many in the Lexington area. As part of the Koorsen Fire & Security family, the customers of Lexington Fire Extinguisher, Inc., will now have access to our complete range of services and our expertise in design, installation, engineering, service, and repair for virtually any fire or security product or system. Because long-term relationships are the core of our business, we’re delighted to have Lexington owner Alan Shely and his team of fire extinguisher route technicians joining us in the Koorsen office at 141 Venture Court. Koorsen Fire & Security will continue to honor all of Lexington Fire Extinguisher, Inc.’s pricing and services. Because of our familiarity with the industry and area, along with the support and customer knowledge that the Lexington Fire Extinguisher, Inc., team brings, we expect the transition to be seamless for all of those already doing business with the company. ### Koorsen Fire & Security was founded in 1946 and is a third-generation, family owned business.
